Currently, the most popular nightclub in all of Vancouver is Bar None. Bar None is a Yaletown nightclub that occupies one of the old historic warehouses in the district. This rustic look with old brick and exposed wooden ceiling beams adds to the overall ambience of Bar None. The club attracts some of the best DJ’s in the city as well as international ones who play a wide range of music. Be sure to get there early because Bar None is usually filled to capacity before 10 pm.
A short walk from Yaletown lies the entertainment capital of Vancouver – Granville Street. Granville Street is a great place to find souvenirs and retro t-shirts during the day but when the sun goes down, this street transforms into one of the busiest and liveliest streets in the city. If you like to dance, Granville Street is the place for you.
One of Granville Street’s oldest and most respected night clubs is The Roxy. The Roxy has been a Granville favourite for decades and is very popular with the university and 20 something crowd all the way up to the young at heart over 40s. It offers a great mix of some of the most talented DJ’s in Vancouver as well as a host of local live music. Stop by today and enjoy the casual atmosphere of The Roxy.
Another great place to dance the night away is The Republic. The Republic is located right in the middle of Granville Street and has drawn a steady crowd for over a decade. The Republic offers a great dance floor on its lower level which plays a wide variety of music by some of the city’s best DJ’s. If you need a break from the dance floor, head upstairs to The Annex which offers an intimate lounge setting overlooking the busy and vibrant scene of The Republic.
